Abstract

As an important branch of China’s outstanding traditional culture, the intangible cultural heritage of sports in the Qilu region embodies the unique sporting cultural imprint of Shandong and the spiritual essence of the Chinese nation. To this end, this paper employs methods such as literature review and logical analysis to conduct an in-depth study on protection models for the intangible cultural heritage of sports in the Qilu region through digital empowerment. The study concludes that the core pathway for digitally empowering the intangible cultural heritage of sports in the Qilu region lies in using digital technology to reshape heritage preservation forms, reconstruct experiential scenarios, innovate industrial structures, and broaden dissemination channels. Building upon this foundation, the study innovatively designs three major preservation models—digital technology, digital storytelling, and digital media—and constructs a four-dimensional digital practice pathway encompassing knowledge, platforms, experience, and dissemination, thereby providing support for the living transmission and high-quality development of the intangible cultural heritage of sports in the Qilu region.
