Abstract

Aim To explore the experiences of nursing interns in transferring their learning from team-based cardiopulmonary resuscitation simulation training to clinical practice. Method A qualitative descriptive study. Semi-structured interviews were conducted with 22 nursing interns. The study adhered to the consolidated criteria for reporting qualitative research (COREQ). Results Three themes were identified in this study: Awakening of ability and clinical awareness; The dilemma of team role integration; Training and practice: two sides of the same coin. Conclusion This study indicates that team-based cardiopulmonary resuscitation simulation training not only improved nursing interns' clinical awareness and skills but also discovered the challenges faced during the learning transfer process. These insights will be valuable for optimizing future training programs and ensuring effective patient care in clinical settings.
