With the increase in population, there is growing demand for fruit productivity and security among the fruit growers and growing population. To meet this need, synthetic fertilizers have been using continuously in agricultural crop production. However, these synthetic chemicals are not only hazardous to human; these can also deteriorate soil health and soil micro biomes. Moreover, there is increasing health concern amongst the people and thus demand for organically produced agricultural produces. In view of abovementioned factors, the present research on organic practices in papaya cultivation was carried out to assess the ‘Effect of Organic Amendments on Growth, Yield and Quality of Papaya cv. Vinayak” during the year 2020-21 and 2021-22 incorporating Farm Yard Manure, Vermicompost, Panchagavya and Amritpani with their different 15 combinations. The results revealed that among treatments, growth parameters like plant height, petiole length and plant spread were increased with the treatment 75% Recommended dose of fertilizer through Farm Yard Manure + Vermicompost + 3% Panchagavya + Amritpani (T 15 ). Flowering and fruit attributing parameters were also highest in T 15 . Days to first flowering, days to first fruiting, days from first flowering to fruit maturity were recorded significantly earlier under T 15 . Similarly, yield and quality attributing characters were found optimum under the same treatment T 15 .
