Abstract

In today's IoT-driven (Internet of things) ecosystem today, saving lives is crucial, and real-time monitoring technologies are crucial for tracking IoT security. However, these systems often transmit sensitive medical data over unsecured networks, posing security challenges, especially for devices that use low resources (LRDs devices with low resource) in the Internet of Things (IoT) . This paper introduces a modified SLIM cipher designed for such environments, leveraging lightweight cryptography principles to ensure data security while minimizing computational and resource overhead (Aboushosha et al (2020)) [1]. Comprehensive analysis demonstrates its efficacy, including tests on key sensitivity, avalanche effect, and NIST randomness standards McKay et al (2016)[26], providing a viable solution for IoT applications
