Electron microscopy cytochemistry has contributed to a better knowledge of the identification of some cytoplasmic components of eukaryotic cells, even when they are not highly specific, but allow the identification of cell components. Here we describe results obtained by impregnation of the cells with a Zinc-Osmium Tetroxide complex to label some organelles of Trypanosoma cruzi and Toxoplasma gondii.
