Objective This study aimed to investigate the effects of an optimized perioperative whole-process comprehensive intervention on quality of life, psychological status, and prognostic outcomes in patients with ovarian cancer undergoing multi-organ combined resection. Methods A total of 120 patients admitted between January 2022 and October 2024 were retrospectively analyzed and divided into a routine nursing group and a comprehensive intervention group, with 60 patients in each group. The routine nursing group received standard perioperative care, while the intervention group was provided with a multidisciplinary team-based whole-process comprehensive intervention, including preoperative prehabilitation, intraoperative enhanced recovery after surgery optimization, and postoperative continuous nursing. At three months postoperatively, quality of life (assessed using the EORTC QLQ-C30 and related indicators), psychological status (evaluated using the state-trait anxiety inventory and other scales), and prognostic outcomes were compared between the two groups. Results Compared with the routine nursing group, patients in the comprehensive intervention group demonstrated significantly higher scores across all dimensions of postoperative quality of life and significantly lower levels of anxiety and depression ( p < 0.05). In addition, the comprehensive intervention group exhibited a lower incidence of postoperative complications, reduced readmission rates, and a shorter length of hospital stay ( p < 0.05). Although no statistically significant difference was observed in the 6-month progression-free survival rate between the two groups (93.3% vs. 86.7%), a favorable improving trend was noted in the intervention group. Conclusion The implementation of a perioperative whole-process comprehensive intervention can effectively improve quality of life, alleviate psychological distress, and facilitate postoperative recovery in ovarian cancer patients undergoing multi-organ combined resection. This intervention demonstrated substantial clinical value and has promising potential for broader clinical application.
