Abstract

Leiomyoma, also known as a fibroid, is the most common uterine mesenchymal neoplasm. Although it is the most common neoplastic condition affecting the female genital tract, its occurrence below 20 years of age is infrequent. Recognizing this rare occurrence is crucial for radiologists when considering the differential diagnosis of uterine masses in this age group. In this article, we present two cases of uterine leiomyoma (UL) in two teenage patients with distinct presentations and radiological appearances. We aimed to highlight the role of imaging in differentiating UL from other malignant masses that may affect the uterus and female genital tract in this age, to preserve the patient’s fertility.
