Abstract

Pyrimidine-1,2,4-triazolo-benzodiazepine, Pyrimidine-1,2,4-triazolo-benzoxazepine and Pyrimidine-1,2,4-triazolo-benzothiazepine derivatives ( 2a-f, 3a-f and 4a-f) obtained from cyclocondensation reaction of chalcone-triazolo-1,5-benzodiazepine derivatives 1a-f with urea, guanidine and thiourea using less amount of solvents. These pyrimidine derivatives have broad spectrum of medicinal importance. These pharmacophoric scaffolds represent a class of anti-fungal screening against Candida Albicans , Fusarium Oxysporum and, and antibacterial screening for Staphylococcus Aureus , Enterobacter Cloacae , and Escherichia Coli .
