Abstract

The review examines the kiwi fruit's possible medical uses as well as its rich nutritional makeup. Primarily derived from the Actinidia deliciosa species, kiwis are rich in antioxidants, vitamins (particularly C and E), minerals, and dietary fibre. These nutrients help prevent cancer, control heart disease, and reduce inflammation, among other health advantages. The production of kiwis, their adaptability to climate change, and the significance of using the best harvesting methods to enhance quality and storability are all covered in the study. The study also emphasises the advantages of kiwis for digestive health, especially because of actinidin, a fruit-specific proteolytic enzyme. The kiwi is a fruit with nutritional value for promoting overall health because of its well-established ability to support digestive comfort, improve immunological function, and manage metabolic health.
