Abstract

This article presents the design and assembly of a portable device for mechanical vibration analysis based on the Arduino platform and an ADXL335 accelerometer. The proposed device can measure vibrations in three dimensions and is suitable for various applications, including rotating machinery, bridges, and buildings. To validate the device's performance, experiments are conducted on a cantilever beam that considers different length conditions. The experimental results are compared with an analytical solution, demonstrating the accuracy and reliability of the device. The proposed device offers a portable platform for data acquisition and analysis, making it accessible to researchers and engineers on a tight budget.
