Abstract

This paper considers the problem of natural wave propagation in an extended two-layer viscoelastic cylindrical shell with a circular cross section. The dispersion relations of viscoelastic waves in two-layer cylindrical mechanical systems are investigated numerically using the Muller method. The aim of the paper is to study the propagation of viscoelastic waves in extended two-layer viscoelastic cylindrical structures and to determine the possible volumetric structure based on the responses of one-sided probing using a priori information about the possible structure of the system.
