Abstract

This study takes pocket parks in high-density cities as the research object, aiming to systematically sort out the research method system in the field of thermal comfort. Through searching Web of Science and China National Knowledge Network (CNKI) database, 21 Chinese and English literatures were selected, and the systematic literature review method was used to conduct a comprehensive analysis from three dimensions: time evolution, research objectives and research methods. The study found that the research in this field has gone through three stages of evolution from basic effect verification to mechanism analysis, and then to multi-sensory fusion and crowd focus; a multi-dimensional evaluation index system combining subjective and objective has been formed with PET and UTCI as the core. The research methods are diverse, mainly including six paradigms such as empirical association analysis, digital simulation-driven, and orthogonal experimental design, and show a trend of multi-method integration. However, this study is limited by the number of database sources and literature, and the universality of the conclusions needs to be further verified. The research results can provide methodological guidance and theoretical basis for the thermal environment optimization design of pocket parks.
