Top 5 Choosing Wisely Brazil list of Physiotherapy in Obstetrics, cross sectional observational study

Objective: To describe the development process of the Brazilian Choosing Wisely list of Physiotherapy in Obstetrics. Methods: This study was developed by the recommendations of the American Board of Internal Medicine and The Choosing Wisely Brazil group and carried out online using Google Forms. The research consisted of three stages. In the first, a group of specialists sent recommendations of the conducts that were used without scientific support together with the justification. In the second, the research group analyzed the recommendations and their justifications and in the third stage, physiotherapists with more than 2 years of experience in physiotherapy in women's health voted for the recommendations to choose the final list of recommendations. Results: The first stage consisted of 16 experts (41.81 ± 10.6 years old) who sent 34 recommendations. After being discussed in the second stage, 16 recommendations were voted on in the third stage, composed of 224 physiotherapists (38.45 ± 08.06 years old). Five recommendations received more than 80% of the votes in favor and formed the final list of recommendations.
