Abstract

Indenopyrazole are a class of heterocyclic compounds, contains fused bicyclic structure having a pyrazole and an indene ring. Indenopyrazoles serve as a privileged scaffold for the development of new drug candidates due to their modular properties along with diverse biological activities. Indenopyrazole derivatives were prepared by means of a multistep protocol, using substituted cinnamic acid, involving Friedel–Crafts acylation, condensation with diethyl oxalate, and cyclization with phenyl hydrazine. Further, compounds were investigated using FTIR, 13C NMR, 1H NMR and LCMS data as per availability.
