This study proposes an economic design for a double sampling system under the Zero-Inflated Poisson Distribution (ZIPD), aiming to minimize the total cost associated with both producer’s and consumer’s risks. A comparative analysis of total cost is conducted between the plan and the system. The main objective of this article is to design an optimal sampling plan and system using ZIPD and to compare it with the Poisson distribution. The Total cost of our proposed Double Sampling plan and system using Zero-Inflated Poisson distribution are more effective than those based on the Poisson distribution. Tables are constructed to determine the parameters and total costs under ZIPD. Numerical illustrations are provided to demonstrate the practical applications and effectiveness of the proposed approach.
