Abstract

Cancer is still a big health problem that calls for flexible plans. This paper sums up main treatments, paying attention to drug resistance, how drugs are ordered, and dealing with side effects while keeping the patient in mind. Information from important studies and actual use shows how resistance affects what treatments are chosen. Side effects and patient situations are considered to find the right balance between the treatment working and the patient's life quality. This piece also looks at when to use chemo before immune checkpoint blockade, and new methods like mRNA vaccines and PROTACs. Bigger things—like standards of treatment, what we don't know, moral questions, and money problems—are brought up to help shape how cancer care is done later.
