Abstract

A variant of a reversible photoelectrochemical system. A CdSe photoanode is used, with the electrolyte in the anode compartment based on the K 3 [Fe(CN) 6 ]/K 4 [Fe(CN) 6 ] redox system. In the cathode compartment, a redox system based on sulfur polysulfides is used. Open-circuit voltage is up to 0.90 V, short-circuit current density for the illuminated surface of the photoanode is up to 5 mA/cm². There is problem of K 3 [Fe(CN) 6 ] Photodegradation. Another variant of Photoelectrochemical redox flow battery is prepoused.
