Aeromonas species are emerging human pathogens causing diverse infections. We retrospectively reviewed 61 culture-proven cases (2019–2025) at a tertiary centre in South India. Mean patient age was 46 years; 57% were male. Skin and soft tissue infections (40.9%) and bacteremia (40.9%) were predominant, with pulmonary and urinary infections less common. Comorbidities included diabetes (27.8%) and liver disease (14.7%); trauma preceded 16.3% of cases. Carbapenem resistance was high (meropenem 54.7%, imipenem 27.8%), though cephalosporins retained activity. Most patients recovered (81.9%), while mortality was 13.1%. Findings emphasize diagnostic vigilance and rational antibiotic use in Aeromonas infections.
