Abstract

Mobile Ad Hoc Networks (MANETs) are infrastructure-less networks that enable dynamic communication between nodes without a centralized authority. However, the dynamic nature of MANETs poses significant challenges to routing, including node mobility and link failures. To address these limitations, the paper proposed a Dynamic Routing with k-Link Path Diversity (DRkLPD) method that leverages multiple paths to ensure reliable and efficient data transmission. DRkLPD employs a route discovery process to establish authenticated routing paths, utilizes a greedy search method to select the most reliable and stable paths, and dynamically adapts to changing network conditions. The proposed method detects and responds to malicious activity, such as packet dropping and optimizes route selection based on reliability, stability metrics. By providing a robust and adaptive routing solution, DRkLPD improves network performance metrics, including throughput and packet delivery ratio, making it an effective solution for efficient communication in MANETs.
