This study aimed to investigate healthcare professionals' knowledge, attitudes, and practices (KAP) regarding biologic therapy for psoriasis. We conducted a cross-sectional survey from December 20, 2023, to March 28, 2024, at the Zhejiang Provincial People's Hospital Bijie Hospital. The survey collected demographic data and assessed KAP scores via distributed questionnaires. Of 556 participants, 63.85% were male and 35.43% had psoriasis treatment experience. Mean knowledge, attitude, and practice scores were 23.74 ± 3.47, 38.08 ± 6.97, and 40.75 ± 9.23, respectively. Practice was independently associated with attitude, age, and hospital level (all P < 0.05). Structural equation modeling showed knowledge directly influenced attitude (β = 0.398, P < 0.001), which in turn directly affected practice (β = 0.641, P < 0.001), supporting a mediating role of attitude.Healthcare professionals in this study demonstrated an adequate level of knowledge and positive attitudes towards biologic therapy for psoriasis, which positively influenced their proactive practices in treatment management.
