Abstract

The current study aims to design a training program to raise the awareness of early childhood female teachers regarding cybersecurity. and what they can offer to promote safe practices in their educational environments and support families in protecting their children from digital threats. The study was based on a mixed-method approach. The interview form was administered to a sample of six female teachers, while the achievement test was administered to a sample of 60 early childhood teachers in West Dammam Schools for the year 2024–2025. The study presented a training program based on practical applications, enhancing the knowledge of cybersecurity practices among early childhood teachers. The results of the teachers’ responses showed that they did not have full awareness of cybersecurity practices and had not received any training on the subject, as cybersecurity topics are not included in the school curriculum. The program also proved effective in educating teachers on ap-propriate cybersecurity practices by providing a behavioral and practical dimension in training awareness among female teachers, enabling them to fulfill their roles in sup-porting parents and enlightening them about their role in cybersecurity to protect them and their children from harm that may befall them in the digital environment.
