3D canopy height models and optical remote sensing imagery combined with national forest inventory data enable rapid assessment of fire contours and associated forest attributes. In Aude, southwestern France, wildfires between June 26 and August 10, 2025, burned approximately 13,700 ha, including 141,000 m 3 ( ± 47,000 m 3 ) of productive forest timber.
