Spiritual Leadership and Employee Performance: The Role of Employee Well-Being as a Mediator

In today's global competitive environment, employee performance is critical for organisations to gain a sustainable competitive advantage. There is a growing demand for research focused on how employee performance can be improved. In this context, the purpose of this study is to examine the relationship between spiritual leadership, employee well-being, and employee performance. Data were collected from 409 public sector employees and then analysed using SPSS 27 and AMOS 25 software. The results indicate that spiritual leadership and employee well-being have a significant impact on employee performance. Additionally, it was found that employee well-being plays a mediating role in the effect of spiritual leadership on employee performance. These findings provide theoretical insights and practical recommendations on how spiritual leadership can improve employee performance.
