Background : This study aims to develop the education systems in the field of biomedical sciences using the Rapid Prototyping to Instructional Systems Design (RPISD) model. Methods : A comprehensive literature review was conducted, along with a current state analysis and a relevant case analysis. Additionally, 100 learner surveys, 36 learner and 15 instructor interviews, and a usability test were carried out in accordance with the phases of the RPISD model. Results : This study resulted in the formulation of 12 educational principles and 18 educational strategies for the Department of Biomedical Sciences. Specifically, six educational principles and seven educational strategies were developed with respect to the curriculum, four educational principles and five educational strategies in regard to teaching methods, and four educational principles and six educational strategies in relation to the educational environment. Conclusion : The findings of this study provide guidelines for higher education institutions in various regions to build or improve their graduate education system in the field of biomedical sciences.
