Abstract

Industrial monitoring systems play a crucial role in ensuring the efficiency and safety of operations. However, traditional monitoring methods often lack the capability for real-time analysis, leading to delayed responses to operational issues. To address these challenges, we present InspectX, an innovative solution that combines OpenCV and WebSocket technologies for enhanced monitoring. By utilizing OpenCV, InspectX performs precise visual inspections, effectively identifying defects and irregularities in industrial processes. The incorporation of WebSocket technology ensures low-latency communication between devices and servers, enabling instantaneous data transmission. This integration facilitates automated alerts and insights, greatly enhancing decision-making in dynamic industrial settings. Our extensive experiments across diverse industrial environments demonstrate that InspectX significantly improves defect detection rates and overall monitoring efficiency when compared to conventional systems, setting a new benchmark for real-time analytical capabilities in industrial monitoring.
