This study explores the fabrication and evaluation of nanocomposite films com- posed of molybdenum disulfide (MoS2), tris(8-hydroxyquinolinato)aluminum (Alq3), and poly(3,4-ethylenedioxythiophene) polystyrene sulfonate (PEDOT:PSS) for potential gas detection applications. The sensor architecture utilizes a fluorine-doped tin oxide (FTO) coated glass substrate, where the active sensing layer is confined to the central region. Comprehensive structural and electrical analyses were performed to assess the material's behavior in the presence of target gases. The results demonstrate excellent sensitivity, indicating that the MoS₂:Alq3:PEDOT:PSS hybrid system is a promising candidate for next-generation gas sensing technologies.
