The article presents the results of using microsphere flow burnishing for finishing holes in sleeves made of aluminum alloy 2017A. The influence of this treatment’s parameters on selected properties of the surface layer and corrosion resistance was examined by employing accelerated electrochemical tests via the potentiodynamic method. The results showed a correlation between corrosion rate and residual stresses in the surface layer, as well as certain parameters of the surface’s geometric structure. Possibilities of improving anti-corrosion properties in relation to finishing turning were observed, and the influence of flow burnishing parameters on corrosion rate was modeled using a power-law mathematical equation.
