Rail transit in many countries has a long history of development. The trains put into operation in the early stage have long service life and large mileage. The electrical components on the trains are faced with the problem of being replaced when they reach service life. With the continuous acceleration of technological progress, the upgrading and iteration of electrical components are frequent, and the original vehicle components are facing problems such as shutdown. It will cost a lot of money to replace the whole vehicle with a new generation of products, so it is particularly important to extend the service life of train parts. This paper analyzes the life evaluation of Siemens voltage sensors in Shenzhen Metro and explores the fault influence through life evaluation, comparative tests, and other experiments. Further, optimize the replacement cycle of Siemens voltage sensor in the whole life cycle, adjust the replacement strategy from every 10 years to 15 years, and save about 14.62 million yuan in the whole life cycle, achieving the purpose of saving maintenance costs, reducing costs, and increasing efficiency.
