Abstract

This study aims to analyses the proximate composition and fatty acid analysis of Rexea bengalensis. The results showed values of protein, fat and moisture content as 19.1, 1.87 and 76.8 respectively. In the fatty acid analysis percentage of monounsaturated fatty acids (MUFA), saturated fats (SFA) and Poly unsaturated fatty acids (PUFA) as 45.15, 36.19 and 16.03, respectively.
