Abstract

Under reinforced concrete (RC) construction, concrete is used as a strong material under compression to withstand compressive pressure. Cement and fine and coarse aggregates are combined to create concrete, and the quality of the concrete mostly determines the quality of the final product. This research offers a concise overview of cement and concrete, covering their historical use in building and monument construction throughout many civilizations, as well as their current development and applications. These materials are discussed in terms of their contemporary forms, chemical and physical characteristics, and range of use. Changes in the basic components and production circumstances can affect the compressive property of cement as well as, in turn, its physical qualities. Thus, using Ashaka Sokoto Dangote Rhino Elephants to examine the physical and mechanical features of concrete specimens, an experimental investigation was conducted. These tests were all carried out in compliance with the applicable ASTM guidelines. Based on the outcomes of the tests indicated above and the suggested values provided by the standards, the characteristics of the cements were compared. At the designated age of 28 days, only cement brand B attained the required compressive strength. We want to find the best cement companies in the KPK among all of these different brands, taking into account the physical tests mentioned above. We will test these brands again in three months. The greatest cement quality can be discovered, but this process will take time. The composition and fineness of the cement mixture supported the results of the mechanical tests conducted on the mortar and concrete.
