Abstract

The primary goal of the research is to explore the moderating impact of leader-member exchange (LMX) on the connection between empowering leadership (EL) and employee creativity (EC). Despite the widespread recognition of the positive effects of empowering leadership (EL), existing research on its effectiveness has yielded inconsistent findings. Therefore, further exploration of the connection between EL and EC, as well as the factors influencing this relationship, is necessary. In this regard, data were gathered from 374 bank employees. The results indicated that LMX serves as a modereting variable in the association between EL and EC. However, as LMX quality strengthens, the effect of EL on creativity lessens.
