Aim: It was aimed to evaluate the suitability, validity and reliability of the scale called 'Maternal Disintegrative Responses Scale (MDRS)', developed in Israel in 2021, for the Turkish society. Methods: This methodological research was carried out with 150 puerperants women with a 0-12 month old child who applied to Kars Harakani State Hospital- Obstetrics and Gynecology Service and Obstetrics Hall. Language validity and pilot application studies of the MDRS, which can be used in women with postpartum children aged 0-12 months, were conducted. Cronbach Aplha, discriminant validity and CR values regarding the reliability and validity of the scale were calculated.Confirmatory factor analysis was performed to determine whether the scale was validated in Turkish culture and fit values were calculated. Correlation values between factor loadings and sub-dimensions of the scale were calculated. Results: The Turkish version of the MDRS a 8-item scale with two sub-dimensions was obtained. These two sub-dimensions found as a result of confirmatory factor analysis support the structure of the scale. Conclusion: Cronbach α reliability coefficient was found to be sufficient for the total (0.91) and sub-dimensions of the scale.
