One of the key environmental factors influencing a plant's ability to grow and develop is its soil. Soil contains essential soil elements which are crucial for its fertility. This study aims to examine the suitability of soil for cultivation. In February 2024, soil samples were taken from Doonga Valley in Dehradun. To conduct the physicochemical analysis for this study, various parameters including soil pH, soil moisture content, conductivity, and total dissolved solids were examined. The CHNS (O) analyzer was employed to quantify the various elements (C, H, N, and S) found in the soil. In relation to the amounts of carbon, nitrogen, and sulfur in the soil sample, hydrogen had the highest elemental percentage.
