Women of reproductive age face the greatest burden of the HIV/AIDS epidemic in low- and middle-income countries, including Tanzania. Comprehensive knowledge of HIV/AIDS is vital for effective prevention. Using 2022 Tanzania Demographic and Health Survey data, we employed descriptive statistics and weighted binary logistic regression. Only 15.9% of women had comprehensive HIV/AIDS knowledge. Higher knowledge was associated with being previously married, educated, literate, employed, wealth quantile, using internet, sexually transmitted infections awareness, and tested for HIV. Older age was associated with lower odds. Multifaceted interventions are needed, especially for older, less educated women, using diverse communication and health services engagement.
