Abstract

Medical equipment is integral to hospital operations, spanning procurement, installation, usage, and maintenance. Effective contract management is critical due to the equipment's specialized nature and high value. Traditional methods often suffer from inefficiencies, opacity, and communication delays, prompting the need for advanced solutions. This study presents the design, implementation, and evaluation of a Full Lifecycle Management System for medical equipment contracts based on a Browser/Server (B/S) architecture. The system significantly reduced contract signing time (from 44.09 to 10.72 days) and enhanced execution transparency. By analyzing its functionalities and impact, this paper demonstrates its role in optimizing hospital equipment management and advancing administrative informatization.
