Abstract

This study presents BTN-Insight, a complete forensic analysis framework of blockchain for real-time identification, visualization, and investigation of suspicious patterns formed from bitcoin transaction activity is presented. Based on a robust Petri Net simulation model, BTN-Insight considers Bitcoin addresses as places and transactions as transitions, allowing dynamic behavior tracking and risk scoring. The system consists of advanced algorithms for pattern detection of certain illegal behaviors such as hoarding, peel chains, dusting attacks, or Conjoin transactions. It comes with interactive transaction flow graphs and heatmap techniques such as modern visualization libraries and makes these capabilities available to researchers and analysts as friendly ways of tracing Bitcoin movement and revealing hidden networks. BTN-Insight is an easily scalable, user-centered feature with secure dataset uploads, report generation in formats such as JSON and PDF, centralized dashboards for monitoring transactional risk and network anomalies, and other features. Potential applications include digital forensics, financial intelligence, regulatory compliance, and academic research, making it an innovative platform to fight illicit activities in cryptocurrency.
