This study investigates the complex relationship between digital technology innovation, knowledge sharing, and firm performance in Chinese internet digital industry firms, with particular attention to the mediating role of Human-AI collaboration and the moderating effect of Human-AI interaction. Using a mixed-method approach combining Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) and fuzzy-set Qualitative Comparative Analysis (fsQCA), we analyze data from 278 firms across three case studies. Our findings reveal that both digital technology innovation and knowledge sharing positively influence firm performance, with Human-AI collaboration mediating these relationships. Furthermore, Human-AI interaction significantly moderates the relationship between Human-AI collaboration and firm performance. The study contributes to the emerging literature on digital transformation and Human-AI integration in organizational contexts, offering theoretical insights and practical implications for firms navigating the digital era.
