Abstract

This study evaluates the MH Mobile Leprosy application designed for health educators in Indonesia using a qualitative approach. The application aims to enhance leprosy care through individualized learning, collaborative study sessions, and practical guidance. Incorporating the SPARC Model, which integrates holistic nursing theories, the study explores the application's effectiveness in providing comprehensive care. Fifteen semi-structured interviews revealed three primary themes: utility, understandability, and appropriateness. Participants noted the application's ease of use and accessibility compared to traditional methods, despite challenges like phone sharing and energy access. The findings highlight the need for culturally sensitive materials and ongoing professional development. The integration of the SPARC Model into the application underscores a holistic, patient-centered approach, promoting physical, mental, social, and spiritual well-being. This study demonstrates the potential of mobile health technology to transform leprosy education and care, especially in resource-limited settings.
