This study examined the effect of the training package offered to teachers working in special education schools on the skills of working in collaboration. Within the scope of this study, a training package supporting professional development was developed and implemented. Teachers were provided with feedback during the implementation process. Within the scope of the research, the Teacher Collaboration Skills Scale, which also provides construct validity, was developed to use it as a measurement tool and to bring it into the field. In the quantitative dimension of this research, in which the mixed methods research simultaneous intervention design was used, the paired experimental (n=16) and control (n=16) groups were pretested and posttested, and in the qualitative dimension, semi-structured interviews were conducted with the experimental group. The results showed that the training package on cooperation, which was implemented, increased teachers’ collaboration skills, and the quantitative and qualitative findings confirmed each other.
