RFID-Based Vehicle Security & Surveillance System with Automated Access Control and CCTV Integration

This paper presents an RFID-Based Vehicle Security and Surveillance System designed to enhance security through automated access control, QR-based visitor authentication, and CCTV-based image capture. The system utilizes RFID authentication for registered vehicles, QR scanning for temporary visitor access, and real-time image processing via CCTV for visual verification. A Raspberry Pi acts as the central controller, interfacing with a MongoDB database to maintain access logs and trigger gate mechanisms. This research explores the efficiency, security benefits, and scalability of the proposed system compared to traditional manual verification methods. A detailed analysis of implementation challenges, performance metrics, and future improvements is also discussed.
