This study explores the pathological, clinical, and prognostic characteristics of pregnancy-associated breast cancer (PABC). Our findings challenge specific biological models by revealing no significant differences in local nodal involvement, lymphovascular invasion, pathological type, or hormone receptor status between the pregnancy and postpartum groups. Additionally, recurrence-free survival results revealed worse results in the postpartum group compared to the pregnancy group, this disparity did not reach statistical significance. These results align with existing evidence but contradict findings from biological models.
