Abstract

In the context of global sustainable development, energy waste and comfort issues in rural living environments are of great concern, and the promotion of low-carbon buildings and the enhancement of living quality have become urgent challenges. In this paper, we take the countryside of Xuzhou as the research object, based on CFD wind environment numerical simulation, to explore the role of outdoor wind environment wind on the courtyard type residential houses in Xuzhou. Typical courtyard forms and their influencing elements are extracted through on-site research and measurement, and based on the characteristics of the wind environment in Xuzhou, four courtyard influencing factors, namely, courtyard enclosure form, courtyard gate position, roof slope and fence height, are evaluated by simulation, and the optimization strategy derived from the study is applied to residential renovation, with a view to expanding the path of rural habitat improvement and providing a reference for the optimization design of rural habitats in the Xuzhou area.
