Abstract

Madhubani district, Bihar, India, is on the threshold of an agricultural renaissance. The study would focus on sustainable agriculture, aiming to unveil all the challenges along with opportunities for prosperity, and incorporates both qualitative and quantitative approaches in a mixed-methodology design. An examination will be conducted of climate-resilient farming systems, organic farming, conservation agriculture, and agricultural entrepreneurship. The results depict prevailing challenges in the agricultural sector of Madhubani, such as climate change, degradation of soil, and water scarcity, which would influence farming practices. However, sustainable agriculture provides a promising solution to these problems. Climate-resilient farming systems, organic farming, and conservation agriculture could increase agricultural productivity, improve soil health, and reduce environmental degradation. Agricultural entrepreneurship and value chain development are fundamental factors in promoting sustainable agriculture. This study, thereby reflects on successful initiatives and policy recommendations that would improve agricultural growth in the Madhubani district.
