India is often referred to as the "Goldmine of Agriculture" due to its vast agricultural potential. However, despite agriculture supporting 64% of the population, it contributes only 20% to the nation's GDP. This gap indicates the need for substantial reforms in the agricultural sector, which could significantly boost the GDP. One of the major challenges threatening agriculture is drought, which has a profound impact on crop production and water resources. To make India truly live up to its agricultural potential, improving water availability and conservation, particularly in drought-prone areas, becomes critical. This study focuses on the development of a novel device called a dew extractor, which is designed to collect dew through condensation without the need for external energy sources. By utilizing this naturally occurring process, the device provides a sustainable water supply. If this apparatus is effectively implemented, it has the potential to benefit both agricultural practices and industry by conserving water. Furthermore, by optimizing its use, the dew extractor could play a crucial role in energy conservation and water management, contributing to a more sustainable future for agriculture.
