In order to verify the difference between slag asphalt pavement and ordinary asphalt pavement in engineering practice, The Mechanistic-Empirical Pavement Design Guide (MEPDG) was used to analyze and predict the performance of asphalt pavement containing municipal solid waste incineration bottom ash aggregate (MSWI BAA). The results showed that the incorporation of slag had an impact on the rut depth of the pavement, and the traffic volume had a greater impact on the rut depth. The incorporation of slag had no significant effect on the fatigue cracks of the pavement, and was less affected by temperature changes, and had little effect on the smoothness of the pavement. In general, MSWI bottom ash did not reduce the long-term performance of the asphalt pavement, which is suitable for replacing part of natural aggregate for road construction.
