Abstract

Aim: This study evaluated the impact of social media-supported learning on nursing students' academic achievement and social media use. Method: Parenteral drug administration was taught interactively for 12 hours. Skills were demonstrated in a 24-hour lab session. An Instagram page provided educational videos and images for four weeks, with daily Q&A in the story section. Post-training, students completed evaluation forms. Results: The intervention group showed a significant improvement in post-test scores compared to the control group (p<0.001). Exam scores post-training were significantly higher than pre-training (p<0.001). Conclusion: Social media-supported learning positively affects academic achievement and engagement in nursing education.
