F°Low : EM goes FAIR. A novel database software to track with high accuracy the journey of a biological sample towards electron microscopy analysis.

Electron microscopy (EM) plays a crucial role in biological research, yet its widespread adoption is hindered by the lack of standardized protocols and efficient workflow management. This study addresses this challenge by introducing F°Low, a novel software solution designed to streamline the tracking and management of individual experiments in EM sample preparation. We highlight its focus on project management, sample tracking, and protocol refinement. F°Low prioritizes adherence to FAIR principles and facilitates knowledge transmission by providing a user-friendly interface for experiment creation and management. By standardizing the tracking process and promoting protocol improvement from the outset, F°Low aims to transmit EM expertise and enhance efficiency in biological research.
