Abstract

Interconnection networks are networks that portray structure of a system using vertices and edges. In order to determine the architecture of networks, topological indices are used in the study of QSPR/ QSAR. Topological indices are numerical quantities derived from chemical structures to predict the biochemical activities and physical, chemical and biological properties of compounds. In this article, we determine the analytical expressions for Szeged index, edge Szeged index, edge-vertex Szeged index and Padmakar Ivan index of Butterfly network and Augumented butterfly network.
