Abstract

The modern educational landscape is transforming, driven by the rapid advancements in technology and the evolving needs of learners. As educators strive to create more impactful and relevant learning experiences, there is a growing emphasis on understanding the dynamics of knowledge transformation. Central to this discourse is the SECI model, proposed by Ikujiro Nonaka and Hirotaka Takeuchi, which delineates the process of knowledge creation and transfer through four modes: Socialization, Externalization, Combination, and Internalization. Complementing this model is the concept of 'ba' - a shared space for knowledge creation. This research aims to explore the potential of integrating the SECI model and the concept of multi-layer 'ba'-s in course design to enhance the learning experience and better prepare students for professional challenges. As the result of research, the Cadence of Course Design Model including the SECI model is proposed, the survey is performed, and the findings based on statistical analysis are presented.
