Abstract

Purpose Colorectal carcinoma (CRC) is one of the most common malignant tumors in the digestive system worldwide.There is substantial evidence indicating the downregulation of the ETFDH gene in tumor tissues. However, the role and mechanism of ETFDH in CRC has not yet been reported. In this study, we aim to investigate the functions of ETFDH in CRC tumorigenesis. Methods To investigate if the expression of ETFDH is downregulated in colorectal cancer, colorectal cancer tissues and cells were used to detect the mRNA level by RT-PCR and Q-PCR.
